General NewsProfessor Randy Pausch passed away today which of course made me go listen to his Last Lecture again. I'm still working on that Disney dream he talked about too.

He used rejections he was handed when he applied for jobs at Disney to comment on the importance of persistence.

General NewsMe and the little one went to see Wall-e yesterday afternoon. Great film. I must say I was skeptical a while back when I heard a synopsis...but Pixar did it again! Loved the Apple little salutes...and $63.1M ain't bad for a weekend.

General NewsInteresting story on the AP today "Six Flags aims to become content company like Disney". Can they pull something like this off? I live 15 minutes from one of their parks and bought my kids and I season tickets a couple of years ago. Argh...not sure they have it in them

About MeAhhh, kids have decided to surprise dear ol' Dad and take me (I'll be funding it of course) to WDW for my big 40th next month. Can't wait. Having a Grand Gathering with friends for my party while there. Still working on getting that foot in the door with the company and have had a handful of phone interviews on both coast...just need a fit.

General NewsThey came not for Space Mountain or pictures with Mickey Mouse but to raise their right hands and take an oath of citizenship.

Roughly 1,000 people from around the globe celebrated the Fourth of July Wednesday by becoming U.S. citizens at Walt Disney World.
