General NewsWent to see a sneak peek of Bolt this weekend. WOW! Yes, the animation is very good (I saw in 3D too) but it's the story that reminds you THIS is a Disney film. Actually saw it as a double feature after seeing Madagascar 2 and seeing a flyer that the theater was having a test showing of it's first 3D movie so stuck around to see it. Glad I did.

General NewsStory seems to be reaching but story on LA Times is interesting.

Disney's rights to young Mickey Mouse may be wrong
Film credits from the 1920s revealed imprecision in copyright claims that some experts say could invalidate Disney's long-held copyright, though a Disney lawyer dismissed that idea as "frivolous."

General NewsProfessor Randy Pausch passed away today which of course made me go listen to his Last Lecture again. I'm still working on that Disney dream he talked about too.

He used rejections he was handed when he applied for jobs at Disney to comment on the importance of persistence.

General NewsMe and the little one went to see Wall-e yesterday afternoon. Great film. I must say I was skeptical a while back when I heard a synopsis...but Pixar did it again! Loved the Apple little salutes...and $63.1M ain't bad for a weekend.
